NGM Update 198 Another Victory!

Robert - Harriet - Margret
Harriet ... the Witch Doctor's Widow
January 20, 2011

Yesterday I told you about the witchdoctor who was hired and commissioned to stop the workers who were employed to build the permanent kitchen and boarding house for Fountain of Hope School in Bukeeka. Robert, the director of the school and pastor of True Worship Center Church, spoke with me on the phone last night.

The witch doctor told the construction workers that if they did not cease their work, one of them would die the next day. An all night prayer meeting was organized for their protection and faith in the superior power of Jesus for safety. Ironically, the following day, no worker was found dead. The very witch doctor who cursed them was nowhere to be found. Eventually he was found died in a toilet. No foul play. Just dead.

This witch doctor had two wives. The first wife, Harriet, was in the church service this last Sunday. She had wanted to give her life to Christ previously, but her husband had threatened to kill her if she tried to do so. Now that her husband is gone in some mysterious way, she had to give her life to Christ. She came with two of her four children, Robert and Margret.

I am soliciting your sponsorship for the education of these four children. The widow has no means to pay their school fees and three of them are enrolled at Fountain of Hope Primary School and the oldest, Ruth, is a freshman at Hope High School which Robert began this year. The monthly school fees for Ruth is $30 a month. Margret is 12 years old and in 6th grade at FOHS. John is 10 years old and in 4h grade. Robert is 6 years old and in Kindergarten. The school fees for each of these students in the Primary School is $20 a month. I already have one of these students sponsored, but we need two more for the others and someone to sponsor Ruth as well. Please email me as soon as you commit to sponsor one of them.

Pray for Harriet, the widow, who is a new to the eternal family of God. Pray that she will grow in the grace of Jesus Christ and trust Him to provide all of her needs.
